Her third studio album, Glassheart (2012), marked a new creative direction for Lewis, drawing inspiration from dubstep and electronic music. In 2011, Lewis released the single " Collide", a collaboration with Swedish DJ Avicii, and her debut extended play, Hurt: The EP. In 2009, she released her second studio album, Echo, and recorded the theme song, "I See You", for the film Avatar.

The lead single, " Bleeding Love", spent seven weeks at number one in the UK and was the best-selling single of 2007. According to the Official Charts Company, Spirit is the best-selling debut album by a female artist in the 21st century. In February 2007, Lewis signed a five-album contract in the United States with Clive Davis's record label, J Records. Her winner's single, a cover of Kelly Clarkson's " A Moment Like This", peaked at number one for four weeks on the UK Singles Chart and broke a world record by reaching 50,000 digital downloads within 30 minutes. Lewis achieved national recognition when she won the third series of The X Factor in 2006, winning a £1 million recording contract with Syco Music. Born and raised in the London Borough of Islington, she attended the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology in Croydon. For now, we at least have a new mental image of Kristen Stewart, probably surrounded by Muscle Milk.Leona Louise Lewis (born 3 April 1985) is a British singer, songwriter, actress, model and activist. We’ll be keeping this one on our long-lead watch list, along with The Governesses, The Idol, and Everything Everywhere All At Once - that is, if a UK release date ever materialises for what is currently the best-rated film on Letterboxd. The script was co-written by Rose Glass and Weronika Tofilska, and will be produced and globally released by everyone’s favourite movie studio, A24. Of course, not much is known about K-Stew’s character in Love Lies Bleeding at this stage, just that she won’t herself be playing a muscle woman she will appear instead as “the protective lover of a female bodybuilder.” The announcement, made exclusively through The Hollywood Reporter, also says that the story will focus on “the extreme qualities it takes to succeed in the competitive world of bodybuilding” and its central romance will be one “fueled by ego, desire and the American dream.” Its premise that sounds like we will be in for lots of gay, sweaty, eroticism with some existentialism throw in for good measure - K-Stew always delivers.
